Jana Kramer is a country performer, singer and songwriter who became a household name in the world of television after she was cast as Alex on One Tree Hill for the season that ended in the. Her first few releases as a singer-songwriter included in episodes of the series, helping her 2012 eponymous debut album in the top 20 of the Billboard 200. Thirty One from 2015 reached the top ten spot. The last decade saw she starred on Dancing with the Stars as well in TV movies and a number of television shows. She also released some singles which did not appear on albums. The self-doubting Voices was released in 2021. Kramer was Portia during 90210's 2008-2009 seasons and Brooke in Entourage in 2009. Then in 2009 she starred as Alex Dupre on CW One Tree Hill. Kramer stayed with the cast until the halfway point of the show's final season in 2012. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her sign a record contract with Elektra Records. In 2011 she released her modern country love song, I Won't Give Up. Later, in 2012, the song was released on Jana Kramer - her debut full-length. The track landed in the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. To appeal to her large fan base, she continued her acting in films like Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016. Kramer's second album Thirty One, was released on Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of the year 2015. Its success was due to Kramer's Top Five country song I Got the Boy and also in a duet featuring Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The album was able to reach the number three spot in the Billboard 200 country album chart. In September 2016, her stint on the 23rd Season of Dancing with the Stars lasted 2 months, and she finished with a 4th-place final. This was also the season that she got a huge adult contemporary smash, courtesy of her track Feels Like Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
